Enjoyed our stay at Monte da Quinta, it was fantastic.

 

This country farmhouse is furnished to a high standard. It has a cool, spacious comfortable lounge and dining area complete with WiFi, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio and CD player. A large selection of DVDs, books and board games to suite all ages.

A spacious dining area to seat six people plus high chair.

The Kitchen
A large well equipped kitchen with granite worktops, an electric hob
and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, 18 bottle wine cooler cabinet,
kettle, toaster, coffee machine, electric juicer, iron and a ironing board.

The Bedrooms
All three bedrooms have en suite facilities, walk-in showers, WC,
hand basin and bidet. High vaulted ceilings and shuttered windows
give these bedrooms a bright and fresh feel. All beds are made up prior to your arrival. Fresh towels are only provided for the number of guests stated on the reservation request form. A hairdryer and a UK/European travel plug is provided in the master bedroom.

Double doors open from the lounge onto a large private covered dining terrace. This terrace is complete with a large circular dining table, cane furniture, a hammock and loungers. A vantage point for the stunning southerly views over miles of un-spoilt Alentejo plains.

Extra Comfort
For extra comfort during
the winter months this
house has under floor heating with individual thermostatic controls in every room.

We restored the original
dry stone walls to keep
the farmhouse naturally cool in the summer months.

In addition we offer cooling fans in the bedrooms.

This farmhouse has a piping hot solar water system.

Lounge with brick archways and gallery hall

General Characteristics
Finished with traditional white washed walls and beautiful brick arches.
It has terracotta floors throughout with wooden shuttered windows, vaulted beamed ceilings and an open fireplace. As the house is built on solid rock the room levels do vary with one step between some rooms.

There is a further landscaped terrace with private a brick BBQ.
This terrace provides immediate access to the swimming pool. No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the properties, sand trays are provided on the terraces.

Fresh linen is provided and includes pool towels for the use at Monte da Quinta only.

We provide a Guest Hamper, initial bin liners, liquid soap and toilet rolls.  

Weekly housekeeping and linen change included. All towels are replaced mid week.

Mid week housekeeping and linen change can be arranged for an extra cost.

Under floor heating included 1st November to 31st March.

Laundry room facilities include washing machines and a tumble dryer.
