Our guests are always complimentary with regard to our comprehensive list of facilities and the little extras we provide. We pride ourselves on offering just that little bit extra to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

Home Entertainment

The houses are equip with flat screen TVs, satellite free-view channels as well as a  DVD film library. Each house is has an iPod dock and a CD player.

Wi-Fi Internet Access

We provide Wi-Fi internet access at Monte da Quinta free of charge. For internet searching and email connectivity only.

Swimming Pool

Our uniquely designed Azul pool measures 11.5 x 5 meters and is a level 1.5 meters deep, ideal for even the non swimmers. Incorporated in the main pool is a 4 meter circular shallow children’s play pool with seating. Situated within the landscaped areas immediately to the front of the farmhouses, with its elevated position the pool provides a fantastic vantage point for the stunning southerly views. The pool uses a gentle balance of natural salt rather than chemical chlorines, the water contains approximately 10 percent the salt level in sea water.

Landscaped Grounds

The large pool terrace has non slip pavers for safety reasons. There are ample loungers with mattresses and large sun shades. The lower terrace offers a little more shelter, seclusion and privacy, although still maintains a elevated position with stunning views. A Gazebo covers one third of this terrace offering the perfect place to relax, read a book and enjoy a bottle of local wine. 

We have tried to ensure privacy for our guests and given consideration to the planting in order to create an attractive and relaxing environment. We have included a small Herb garden for our guests to use. 

We have a 50 meter long landscaped gravelled drive, secure and gated at the entrance. A large car port adjacent to our office is within 50 meters of the houses for your convenience.

BBQ Terraces

Each farmhouse has a large private terrace with a charcoal BBQ providing the perfect elevated position to wine and dine at any time during the day or evening.

Boules  or “Petanque”

Set within the landscaped gardens we have created a boules pitch. Fun for all ages and an ideal way to relax on a warm sunny day.

Laundry Facilities

We have a communal laundry room with several washing machines and a tumble dryer.

Bicycles

Currently we have two adult sized bicycles for guest use, free of charge. A perfect way to collect fresh bread and croissants from the local bakers for breakfast. Or maybe a late afternoon excursion exploring the quiet lanes and caminos which criss-cross the countryside.

Recycling

We encourage our guests to recycle all edible food waste and provide each house with containers for our pigs and poultry. We also provide communal recycling bins for glass, metal, card and plastic.
