Monte da Quinta.
To make your stay more

Guest Hamper
Compliments of Monte da
Quinta a guest hamper awaits you.
Hamper includes: Water, Alentejo wine and
cheese, locally baked bread
rolls, biscuits, fruit
juice, milk, butter and
our free range eggs.

Initial: bin liners,
liquid soap and toilet
rolls.
Guest Guide
Our comprehensive guest guide provides details on local restaurants, local interests and attractions
and general useful
information. This guide can be found
within your
cottage upon your arrival.
Cots and Travel Cots
We have a cot complete with cot linen, two travel cots,
a high chair and a baby chair. We are happy to provide these items at no extra cost.
For the Children
For your entertainment
Casa Laranjeira and
Casa Oliveira have a
selection of DVD's.
Both cottages have
books, board games and
puzzles.
Laundry Facilities
We have a communal Laundry room with several washing machines and a tumble dryer. We do ask a small charge of
5 Euros, this includes washing detergents.
Recycling
We
encourage our guests to
recycle all edible food
waste and provide each
cottage with containers
for our pigs and
poultry.
We also provide communal
recycling bins
for glass and plastic
bottles.
Winter Warmth
For extra
comfort all the rooms
have under floor heating.
Postcards & Souvenirs
Postcards, stamps and small souvenirs are available for purchase from the farm
shop.
Fresh
Farm Produce
Various seasonal produce
including: eggs,
oranges, preserves,
local honey, salad and
vegetables can be purchased on the farm.
Kinesiology Specialised
Energy Therapy
We are
able to offer you this
holistic touch therapy
within the comfort of
your cottage here at
Monte da Quinta.
A normal session lasts
approximately an hour
and costs
40 euros.
This energy therapy links Chinese
acupuncture meridians
and energy balancing
with Western muscle
testing, anatomy and

plan your days during
your stay at Monte da
Quinta we will
provide
you with the local
weather forecast.
Hay fever and Asthma
Sufferers
Please be aware that the
month of May is
harvest time in
Portugal. We advise that
you bring adequate
medication, although
there is a Pharmacy
within Castro Verde.
Monte da Quinta is a
working farm therefore
we do have livestock
such as sheep, pigs
a donkey and a pony. The
cottages and immediate
grounds are completely
contained and separate
from the livestock and
their paddocks and
housing.
Our non chemical pool
and unpolluted air is a
big bonus and commented
on by many of our
guests. |
