Guest Comments

Ann & Frank
St Albans 2009
We came as a family of three generations and totally concur with all the praises sung by previous guests. The tranquillity and Beauty of the surroundings, comfort and many amenities of the cottages;
the saltwater pool where Milly has learned to swim;
the daily ritual of feeding the animals; the presence of Michaela & Nigel and their constant helpfulness - the list is endless. To wake each morning to cloudless skies & the prospect of a peerless day ahead - as close to paradise as you can get. As Milly summed it up
"Lets stay here
and not go home!"

We had a lovely stay xx Milly

Hay fever and Asthma Sufferers
Please be aware that the month of May is harvest time in Portugal. We advise that you bring adequate medication, although there is a Pharmacy within Castro Verde.

Monte da Quinta is a working farm therefore  we do have livestock such as sheep, goats, pigs and Shetland ponies. The cottages and immediate grounds are completely contained and separate from the livestock and their paddocks and housing.

Our non chemical pool and unpolluted air is a big bonus and commented on by many of our guests.
