Discovery Moto 4
½ hour instruction on safety and familiarisation with the motorcycles. Followed by 1 ½hours of riding across the beautiful Alentejo landscape.

Escape Moto 4

Taking off from Beja and glide silently over the un spoilt landscape of the Alentejo plains, a birds eye view of the traditional white washed villages and farms.

Sporting Activities

Paintball
Enter in the battle field of paint. Friends and family, this is an ideal activity to amuse.

Archery
Hosted at Monte da Quinta test your marksmanship at the ancient sport of Archery.

Horse Riding

Hosted at Alcaria Alto, 25 minutes from Castro Verde.
One of the best ways to see this ancient landscape of cork oak, olive and other native trees is on horseback.  We have a variety of rides to suit your ability and interests.
Duration: 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours and young persons half day
Level: variety of rides to suite your ability.
Participant: maximum of 4 people (Inc: riding hats)
Price per person  1 hour 20 euros, 2 hours 30 euros
Adventure ride, 40 euros, (9am to 12 noon) 3hrs
Young persons, 30 euros (9am to 1pm)  half day

Hosted at Pan Stables, Alcaria de Fernao Vaz,
20 minutes from Castro Verde.
We can offer tuition at all levels and rides out to anyone wishing to/tall enough to ride a horse, but are not prepared to take novice riders out without an assessment ride first - for their own safety. The riding out here is fabulous with a variety of countryside and tracks for miles.
Assessment ride is part of the hour of the first ride out, (or charged at Eur 10.00 for 20 mins if rider not deemed secure enough to ride out).
30 min lunge lesson Eur 20.00 (Excellent way for beginners to start to ride or for the more serious rider wanting to improve their seat)
45 min private or one hour shared lesson Eur 30.00 (2 people at a time)
One hour ride out Eur 25.00
Two hour ride out Eur 40.00
We can arrange longer rides with coffee stops and/or lunch to suit.
Pony Club for children of any age or size, is every other Saturday.  Eur 5.00 for 2 hours from 10am - 12 noon. Lots of fun, with riding, games and learning about ponies.
